Inaugural Seafood Dinner (September 2006)
Chris Courtright a familiar face around Mt. Holiday decided to test his skills in the kitchen after retiring from the restaurant industry 5 years ago to become an insurance agent with Farm Bureau Insurance.
Chris along with volunteers Cindy Kring, Kim Beattie and staff member Kim Peltier, put together the inaugural seafood dinner to benefit programs at Mt. Holiday.
The group wishes to thank Dan Kelly from the Williamsburg Showcase Dinner Theatre for allowing the group to use his facility for the dinner and silent auction. They would also like to thank numerous event sponsors, especially the Grand Traverse Heart Association.
The seafood dinner was held on September 18th and featured 6 local chefs (Chris Courtright, Kevin Pavaglio, Tim Maloney, Rick Fetter, Collin Beaumier, and Shawn Stiner) and 1 pastry chef (Denise Bair) all who volunteered their time and expertise preparing the 5 course gourmet meal.
