Mt. Holiday has a long tradition of generous support from the communities which it serves. Community donations have made many projects possible:
- Improvements to the lodge to include a full-kitchen that has created a community gathering place.
- The establishment of year-round activities and events.
- The land which makes up Mt. Holiday is permanently preserved by easement.
All of these projects and many others have a direct effect on the individuals who enjoy the Mt. Holiday area, especially the disadvantaged youths utilizing the scholarship program.

Recycle Program
Instead of throwing away those old ink cartridges, laser cartridges and cell phones, donate them to Mt. Holiday. Mt. Holiday has teamed up with Funding Factory's recycle for cash program which benefits nonprofit organizations and schools. Drop off boxes will be set-up around the Lodge or you may drop off your unwanted items at the Guest Services counter. Visit
